Here are a selection of some online Hollywood movies available for streaming via Netflix:

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009) – This larger-than-life computer-animated comedy is about a young inventor whose latest device makes food rain from the sky. While everyone is thrilled at first, problems begin to arise in the form of spaghetti tornadoes, man-eating chickens, and morbid obesity. Featuring the voices of Bill Hader, Neil Patrick Harris, Anna Faris, Bruce Campbell, and Mr. T.

The Postman Always Rings Twice (1981) – Jack Nicholson plays a drifter who enters into a steamy affair with the wife (Jessica Lange) of a café owner. Set in Depression-era California, this sexually-charged film is a remake of a 1946 noir classic, which means somebody’s gonna get murdered at some point.

The International (2009) – Clive Owen stars as an Interpol agent who teams up with a New York assistant DA (Naomi Watts) to bring down a global financial institution involved in arms dealing and money laundering. But as they criss-cross across the globe in pursuit of justice, they come to realize that their foes will resort to any tactics to stay in business.

The Family Man (2000) – Nicolas Cage stars in this sentimental film that’s a lot like It’s a Wonderful Life. He plays an unlikable investment banker who gets a glimpse of what life would’ve been like had he married his college sweetheart (Tea Leoni). I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t need some uplifting mystical experience to convince me to hook up with Ms. Leoni.

My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997) – Julia Roberts headlines this box office hit about Julianne Potter (Roberts), a woman whose platonic male friend (Dermot Mulroney) is getting hitched to a debutante (Cameron Diaz). Realizing that she has feelings for her longtime pal, Julianne must find a way to ruin the wedding and steal the groom for herself. Rupert Everett co-stars in this crowd-pleasing chick flick.

Michael Jackson’s This Is It (2009) – Prior to his death, Michael Jackson was preparing for a series of 50 sold-out shows in London. Exclusive footage captures his rehearsals and the genius of the man behind the music. Despite his bizarre private life, Jackson was unparalleled as a performer, and it’s not often you get to watch online Hollywood movies with such talent on display.

Bugsy (1991) – Warren Beatty received an Oscar nomination for his role as Bugsy Siegel, the mobster who dreamed of building a paradise for gamblers in the heat of the Nevada desert. A great deal of attention is paid to his romance with actress Virginia Hill (Annette Bening), and the screen couple would later tie the knot in real life. Co-starring Ben Kingsley, Harvey Keitel, Elliott Gould, and Joe Mantegna.

Miracle at St. Anna (2008) – Four black soldiers are trapped behind enemy lines in a Tuscan village during World War II. As they struggle to survive, they must contend with heartless superior officers, traitors, and plenty of Germans looking to end their lives. Told through flashbacks, it explains why a postal clerk guns down a customer 39 years later. Directed by Spike Lee.

Free Willy (1993) – A family film about a troubled youth (Jason James Richter) who befriends a Killer Whale named Willy. As their friendships deepens, the boy seeks to find a way to release Willy back into the sea, but first they’ll have to outwit the cruel owner (Michael Ironside) of the amusement park were the Orca is kept. Lori Petty co-stars as an animal trainer, and Michael Madsen plays the boy’s foster father. The theme song for the film was produced and performed by Michael Jackson, and he would do the same for its first sequel.

Surrogates (2009) – In a world where everyone interacts via perfect android bodies, a series of deaths force FBI agent Tom Greer (Bruce Willis) to step into the real world to solve the mystery. Based on a graphic novel, the film co-stars Radha Mitchell, James Cromwell, Ving Rhames, and Rosamund Pike.
