T.J. Hooker to the Big Screen

Another sign of the end times has come to pass, as it’s been announced that T.J. Hooker—the 80′s cop show featuring William Shatner and Heather Locklear—will be coming to the big screen. It’ll be made as an action comedy, most likely in the vein of Starsky & Hutch. Unfortunately, the script is being written by the same guys responsible for the groan-inducing Wild, Wild West fiasco.

In case you’ve forgotten, here’s the opening sequence from the fifth season. Heather Locklear (and her hair) are 80′s hot, and I love it when T.J. fires a single shot from his pistol and appears to blow up a car. Now that’s old school.
