Kick-Ass Blog Carnival
This week’s Kick-Ass Blog Carnival is in honor of the Friday release of Kick-Ass, the over-the-top adaptation of the comic book by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr. Just like in the original, Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) is a nerdy teen who decides to don a costume and fight crime, despite the fact that he’s got no super-powers to speak of. But after nearly getting himself killed, a whole new world opens up for Dave, including girls, fame, and an encounter with a father/daughter vigilante team known as Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) and Hit-Girl (Chloe Moretz).
If you’re not already excited about the release of Kick-Ass, then the following blog posts should do the trick. From reviews and clips of the film to criticism of author Mark Millar, there’s plenty of Kick-Ass goodness to be found here. And be sure to check back often, as we’ll be bringing you even more quality blog post recommendations.
