Haiku Movie Reviews – New Feature at OGM!

Welcome to the first (and possibly last) edition of Haiku Movie Reviews, an attempt to meld quick movie reviews with the ancient art of haiku.  So what is haiku, exactly?  Here’s the short answer: It’s a form of Japanese poetry.

To the English layman, haiku often consists of three lines with 5, 7, and 5 syllables, respectively.  It’s actually more complicated than that, but it’s probably best to keep things simple for our purposes.

Anyway, I welcome any and all comments regarding this little experiment.  If you find them useful or entertaining, please let me know.  If you think they’re just a big waste of space, I also welcome your input.

And if you’re looking for some full-length movie reviews, be sure to check out our sister site, A1 Movie Reviews.  We’ve got all the latest, from The Twilight Saga: New Moon and 2012 to Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Oreans.
