A young woman steals a mystical sword from a respected warrior. The warrior and his strong-willed female partner, try to retrieve his sword and save the girl's soul.

A film worthy of all it's artistic accolades and quite a bit more. Aside from the excellent directing, photography, art direction and score, Crouching Tiger has a well developed plot, interesting characters and some really fine acting performances. Oh yeah, there's also some of the best hand-to-hand combat scenes ever filmed. Credit choreographer Yuen Wo Ping (The Matrix) with another superb effort in planning those sequences.

Although, many of the screen acrobatics are truly superhuman, if you can suspend disbelief of this, you're in store for a wonderful romantic, action drama.
