This
story of a New Jersey-based comic
book artist who falls in love with
a New York City lesbian, and his
best friend just doesn't understand.
Written
and directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks,
Dogma), he delivers another honest
and clever 90's comedy. It is an
honest look at complicated modern
relationships. This film is truly
almost perfect until it's letdown
of a silly ending in the very last
few minutes.
This
is intelligent comedy that is best
served to an intelligent, open-minded
audience. The comedy is sometimes
raunchy, but rarely shocking or offensive.
This should live, along with Clerks,
as a landmark low-budget film of
the decade.
