After the untimely suicide of Hudsucker Industry's CEO, the remaining partners come up with a plan to devalue the company stock enough to pick up his shares for a song. Their plan: hire a moron on as the new CEO.

The Coen Borthers score again with this fanciful comedy with some bite. Robbins is perfectly cast the foolish, but ambitious rube. Paul Newman is, well...Paul Newman. Jennifer Jason Leigh, however, does look a bit uneasy in a demanding role of a pesky journalist.

With some real wild sets and a strong sense of inventiveness, Hudsucker has become a fav of artsy and comedy film buffs.
