Luke Skywalker and friends are back waging war against Darth Vader and the evil Empire. While Luke is learning Jedi skills, Leia, Han and Chewie are captured by Vader in an attempt to trap Luke.

The darkest of the trilogy for sure. Most agree this is the best of the series. Largely character driven, all the effects and action you'd expect and a cliffhanger ending. One of the best films of the decade and the highlight of the Star Wars series - so far.
