I figure most people looking at this list want to get a no-frills synopsis of how the 82nd Annual Academy Awards went down, so I’m not gonna bore you with long diatribes about how Actress X looked horrible in her evening gown. For those of you keeping score, The Hurt Locker was the big winner of the night, capturing six of the nine awards it was nominated for. Avatar was nominated for nine, but it only won three. Third place was a tie between Crazy Heart, Precious, and Up, each with two wins.
